WORKSHOP DETAILS
Many young athletes are sidelined by painful periods, pelvic pain, and endometriosis, hindering their ability to compete on an equal footing in sports. These conditions can significantly impact performance, self-confidence, and long-term participation in physical activities. Our goal is to change this by providing essential education and support through our program, empowering athletes to manage their health while reaching their full potential.
PPEP Talk® Sports is an engaging, age-appropriate, and medically accurate program that addresses these challenges. It integrates modern neuroscience of pain and provides valuable information about the menstrual cycle in relation to training and athletic performance. By equipping young athletes with knowledge, we aim to help them understand their bodies better and make informed decisions about their health. PPEP Talk® Sports directly supports the number one priority of the National Action Plan for Endometriosis education and awareness ensuring that athletes, coaches, and communities are better prepared to handle these health issues.
The workshop will be 60 minutes long, followed by a 5-10 minute Q&A session, allowing participants to ask questions and dive deeper into the topic. This event is hosted by Sceniicc.com , a wellness and family health fitness company dedicated to delivering holistic health information to support community well-being and growth.
Whether you're an athlete, a coach, or someone looking to better understand how pelvic pain and menstrual health affect sports performance, this workshop is an excellent opportunity to learn and connect with others facing similar challenges.
